by RV Mentor - Joe / RVing For Newbies Book Author | Nov 26, 2019 | Anti-Freeze, Winterization | 0 comments

Q; What is the difference between RV and Car/Truck Anti-freeze?

A: RV antifreeze is non-toxic and is used in the potable water systems of RVs and boats. Propylene glycol is the most common.

A: Regular anti-freeze is toxic to humans and animals used only as an engine coolant or perhaps some other non-consumable applications. Ethylene glycol is the most common.
