Blow out water lines or RV anti-freeze?

Q: Which should I do?

A: There are three schools of thought.

1. Blow out the lines with air and no need to use RV anti-freeze.
2. Blow out the lines with air and then use RV anti-freeze.
3. Skip blowing out the lines with air(see why below) and use RV anti-freeze only.

Based on #3, people don’t want stuff that is sitting in bottom of an air tank blown into their water lines, bacteria, rust particle and who knows what else.

I only ever do #3 and have been for last 13 yrs and two different RVs.
